****************
As a personal note, Margaret Stroupe was a loving, gentle lady and a friend to many people.  One of her life passions was to document the Stroup/e Family Tree, originating with Johann Jacob Straub (later Stroup), her GGGGGrandfather.  She created one of the first comprehensive listings of Stroup/e Descendants, a foundation for subsequent research and documentation about our family.  Margaret faithfully attended the Stroupe Family Reunion held each year in Alexis North Carolina.  She will be missed by all.   - Cousin Sid Stroupe.
