90th Reunion of the Descendants of Johann Jacob Straub-Stroup.    On August 4, 2019, held In Alexis, North Carolina, site of Jacob's family settlement. About 110 attended, nearly 30 were "born with Stroup/e on their birth certificate". Attendees traveled from as far away as Nevada, Arizona and Missouri! 2019-2020 Officers elected: Hank Stroup, President; Tom Iovieno, Vice-President; Sid Stroupe, Secretary; Maria Hipp, Treasurer.
